best user friendly anti-virus/firewall

First off i am NOT a computer genius and i am using Windows Xp.So far this is the best anti-virus software i have ever used!Even compared to the popular free AVG,the Norton 360 puts it to shame.Puts all anti virus software to shame and i have used most of the popular ones(no names mentioned).I do NOT have to use any supplemental software for spyware or anything else! Norton 360 does it all. This software is very user friendly, easy to set up(basically does everything itself)and easy to use.You basically dont really have to do anything when you install this software if you just a typical computer user/web surfer.Everything is automatic!!This thing just scans, updates, and backups automatically. It is awesome!I dont have to do anything but i can still do it manually from time to time to do more precise scanning.Even if you ever have a problem with the software, the software will actually fix itself!Yes i said fix itself!Clicking support at the top of the screen will link you to Norton support and the software will scan itself and fix itself if need be.Most of the settings this software has already comes set up the right way after installation. However if you need to tweek some of the configurations, its as simple as a "on/off" slide bar.Very user friendly.

Best Kitchen Appliances

The Very Best Kitchen Appliances

Most apartment kitchens are already supplied with stoves and refrigerators included. However, if you need a new stove, microwave, or refrigerator there are many types of such appliances that are good buys, you just need to know what brand, size, and type etc. that you need. Here are some ideas to get you started if you are looking for new stoves, refrigerators, microwaves or other kitchen appliances:

Refrigerators are essential kitchen appliances

The most popular and convenient refrigerators are side-by-side as opposed to the actual fridge part being on the bottom and the freezer on top or vice versa.Water and ice dispensers on the outside of the door are a very nice touch that make water and, if you choose, ice water easily accessible. There are even refrigerators, such as ones GE has designed, that are shallower in depth than traditional model refrigerators, which making it much easier to seek and reach for things stored at the back of fridge. As you probably know, food can go bad way back there, usually because you never see it when you look around for something to eat.

Tracking Software

Hydra Rolls Out Campaign Tracking Software

Beverly Hills-based Hydra, which operates an online, cost-per-acquisition (CPA) advertising network, said today that it has officially debuted its new campaign tracking software for its advertisers. The firm said the new software, HN 2.0, will offer its advertisers increased compliance and fraud protection, better analytics, and a more powerful user interface. Hydra's HN 2.0 product has been in beta for the last three weeks. The new software is a part of the firm's push to increase the quality of leads in its network, as it looks to move up in the CPA market. Hydra had rolled out the software in February to some early customers, with features such as cookie-less and pixel-tracking and other techniques to remove bot-generated traffic and reduce fraud in its network.

Vital Software to Hackers

Flawed Security Exposes Vital Software to Hackers

McAfee, a leading maker of Internet security software, warned this week that software systems used by many companies to store and manage their intellectual property are being actively targeted by hackers and are in need of significantly increased security focus.

McAfee’s assessment follows its work with several companies to help them recover from a wave of attacks last year — dubbed “Operation Aurora” — that affected the computer networks of Google and more than 30 other companies, many in Silicon Valley. Google, which revealed the attacks in January, said they originated in China and resulted in theft of its intellectual property as well as targeted assaults on the Gmail accounts of Chinese human rights activists.

In some of the hacks, attackers penetrated elaborate computer-security systems and obtained corporate data and software source code. As The New York Times reported in January, source code — the programming instructions underlying computer software — is the most valuable asset of most technology companies.

McAfee’s chief technology officer, George Kurtz, said the security company found that a “common element” in the attacks it investigated was the unauthorized access of systems that act as corporate repositories of software source code and other digital intellectual property, known as software configuration management systems.

These systems, in the case of source code, allow engineers to pull sections of code out, work on them on their workstations and then return the code to its place.
