 Norton 360 Saved my Vaio Laptop August 19, 2009

First off, I am no compuer wizard, but I would rate myself a reasonably savy computer user.
Last month, my Vaio laptop got a Trojan Horse viurs, although I was running McAffee. After removing the virus, the computer was still running crazy. I was getting blue screen messages, freezes, odd lines on the monitor, you name it. I restored the computer to new, and it still was not right. I bought the Norton 360, installed it and sat back. This was 6 days ago. I have not had a single issue since, no freezes, no error messages, nothing. I have a "new computer" now. I am delighted with Norton. The cost was well worth it! Another great feature of this product is the hard drive storage you receive. Just one more thing to love about this product. It also "fixes" files to make the computer run more efficiently. I honestly thought I needed to get a new laptop, so this purchase was an amazing bargain!

First off i am NOT a computer genius and i am using Windows Xp.So far this is the best anti-virus software i have ever used!Even compared to the popular free AVG,the Norton 360 puts it to shame.Puts all anti virus software to shame and i have used most of the popular ones(no names mentioned).I do NOT have to use any supplemental software for spyware or anything else! Norton 360 does it all.This software is very user friendly,easy to set up(basically does everything itself)and easy to use.You basically dont really have to do anything when you install this software if you just a typical computer user/web surfer.Everything is automatic!!This thing just scans,updates,and backups automatically.It is awesome!I dont have to do anything but i can still do it manually from time to time to do more precise scanning.Even if you ever have a problem with the software,the software will actually fix itself!Yes i said fix itself!Clicking support at the top of the screen will link you to Norton support and the software will scan itself and fix itself if need be.Most of the settings this software has already comes set up the right way after installation.However if you need to tweek some of the configurations,its as simple as a "on/off" slide bar.Very user friendly.
I am going on my 2nd year of using Norton 360 and i have never had a virus on anything to corrupt my pc.My computer is fasssst!!This software does NOT slow my pc one bit.I wish i would have found this software many years ago.Not only does this thing scan and backup automatically but it only does it when your computer is at "idle" so not to interfere with your work.Like i said,you can do this manually as well.Now i do want to mention that the Norton anti-virus/firewall software has a very competitive price to other well known brand name software,however after you subscription is due to be renewed(after a year) you will find the renewal fee from Norton is VERY expensive but you can find cheap renewal Norton 360 code keys off the very well known auction site"E-B*y".
conclusion--i give Norton 360 5 stars for ease of use and its top notch virus scan/firewall.One other thing,this software checks for updates every few seconds and it shows you as well.Like i said im running Windows XP and this software does NOT slow my computer one bit!Before i found Norton 360 i used to use a typical name brand software anit-virus/firewall program with a different name brand spyware remover program.No need for that anymore.Norton 360 does it all.No more conflicting anti-virus/spyware programs for me!Very pleased!

The seller shipped this item right on time. I opened and installed it easily, and was thrilled to find all these nice little extras. It even has a registry cleaner that fixed a shut down problem that I've had for over a year. You can download a parental control add on pack. When directed, it scans your hardware and tells you if something isn't working properly, helps with backups, and has quick easy virus and spyware scans. The program doesn't hog your computer's resources. When you Google and search through the lists, Norton even labels sites that are safe with a little check mark. Questionable ones with a question mark. I really love this software bundle. This is the best security suite I have ever purchased by a long shot! Love it, love it, love it!

I used to be a MacaFee (sp?) user for a number of years until we started using Norton at work. I found that it beat the other products I have used, or talked to people who have used, or read about. It immediately about halved the time it took my Dell Optiplex running XP Professional to boot up to the desktop screen. Annoying places where I used to get hang up times in ordinary programs like Excel and Word have all but disappeared. I would recommend Norton 360 over the combination of Avira and Windows Firewall anyday.
